The third quarter is shaping up to be San Francisco’s strongest leasing period of 2013 as large national tenants like Neustar, eBay, Cisco, and Amazon grow in the city.
Through August the city had seen positive absorption — the net increase in occupied space — of 220,000 square feet, according to CBRE. That is double the amount of positive absorption in the first two quarters.

In the biggest 2013 lease in San Francisco, Neustar, a Virginia-based telecom, is taking 144,000 square feet in Foundry Square III at 505 Howard St.
