United Cold Storage is moving from its South San Francisco facility and doubling its space with a 60,000-square-foot warehouse in the city.
A resource for Bay Area specialty and natural food manufacturers, United provides frozen, refrigerated and dry space storage for raw and finished food. Its longtime clients include well known producers of French pastries, seafood and imported and domestic Wagyu beef.
United’s new location on 1600 Donner Ave. in San Francisco has 36 dock doors and two rail doors on a 600-foot siding with direct freezer access. Owner Jim Morgan said the company has room to grow to 120,000 square feet as it adds more clients.
