San Francisco Company Recognized for Its Work on Behalf of Women-Owned Businesses

Pacific Gas & Electric Company, based in San Francisco, was inducted into the Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Hall of Fame due to its support for supplier diversity and women’s business development. The WBE is an eight-year-old nonprofit that celebrates women-owned businesses and the groups that advocate for them. The company’s efforts on behalf of diversity have been recognized by other organizations as well, including the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
