Ten-Story Residential Development Proposed in Van Ness Corridor

The Van Ness corridor, an area on Van Ness Avenue just north of City Hall, has become a hotspot for high-density residential real estate development. Recent proposed projects include a mixed-use high-rise tower proposed by the French American International School, a 239-unit condo at 1001 Van Ness Avenue, and most recently a 10-story, 118-unit residential development at the corner of Golden Gate and Van Ness Avenues.

Despite the city’s reputation for sky-high prices and oversaturation, developers in the San Francisco real estate market are still eager to take on ambitious new projects, and there are areas in the city that are rife with developments.
