UCSF Health and Stanford Health Care both cracked the top 15 on U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Hospitals survey. But UCSF topped its Peninsula rival once again, ranking 7th to Stanford’s 14th.
UCSF trailed just six national rivals on the survey’s elite Honor Roll:
- Mayo Clinic
- Cleveland Clinic
- Massachusetts General Hospital
- Johns Hopkins Hospital
- UCLA Medical Center
- New York Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell.
UCSF finished in the top 10 on eight of 15 ranked adult medical specialties. Last year, it ranked 8th on the national list, while Stanford Health Care was 15th.
